I recently gave an old lamp a bit of a makeover so that it was snazzy enough to put in my daughter’s room.
This weekend is the last of my maternity leave. It has gone so quickly and in the blink of an eye my gigantic 9lb 4oz tiny baby girl is now 8 months old and it’s time to return to work.

Name tags have come a long way since I was at school. Last year when my nephew started reception, we got him some name tapes from ‘My Nametags’ and he absolutely loved them.
When I was pregnant, I was adamant that my child would not have a dummy. Pacifier, dodie, dumdum, dummy… I really disliked them! I thought that they were used as a lazy way of keeping babies quiet.
I’m glad I took a babymoon before the arrival of my daughter. I chose to go at the end of my second trimester for a long weekend.
Ah, a bath. What a relaxing part of a great night time routine. As a small baby, my daughter loved having a bath.
